Alert over Indonesia oil leak

An oil leak and a subsequent fire killed at least 4 people in Balikpapan, an Indonesian oil town in the East Kalimantan province. A state of emergency was declared post the leak. The oil leak has stretched over 7 square miles and has contaminated the sea and the air. The port city, which has a population of 700,000 is struggling with toxic smoke.
